You may have had a previous miscarriage, what to do to stop it from happening again?
- Check for infectious factors such as chlamydia listeria, mycoplasma, syphilis, HIV, and group B streptococci.
- Take progesterone support in the first 8 weeks to support the pregnancy.
- Take hypothyroidism even if it does not appear clinically.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol.
- Do an ultrasound for the uterus to find out any leiomyomas or uterine septum or any abnormalities
- Ask your partner to have a condom during intercourse if you feel small contractions and pelvic pain following intercourse.
- You should know that a simple pregnancy loss does not significantly increase the risk of future losses.
