Shape Versus Function in Rhinoplasty

The nose is the most cosmetic component of the human face, It is centralised in the face, but the most important thing is the function of the nose which provide the only normal passage for the healthy air coming to our bodies.

When the nose is getting small following a cosmetic procedure, the nasal cavity will be smaller with higher air entry resistance, especially if the nasal work affect the  anterior nasal part or the nasal valve. Sometimes extra operation is needed to improve the breathing or nasal air entry as turbinate reduction.
