Does Heart attack in women comes up in a different way?

It is well known that ischemic heart disease is less in women before menopause to be equal to men after 65 of age.

Heart attack in women may be manifested in a different way, classical chest pain occurs in around 50% of women, the other women complaints include shortness of breath, neck pain, indigestion, acidity, and light-headedness.

These symptoms are not specific to ischemia and may be misleading to another disease, though it is so important when you get these complaints as a woman to be aware and proceed to see your cardiologist to do an ECG and blood test for the cardiac enzyme (troponin T or I) and echocardiography to clarify the situation and get the right diagnosis and treatment because the” time is muscles “in cardiology.
